LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated: March 29, 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Zero Point Logic API, website, and related services. By accessing or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully — they are written in plain language without unnecessary legal bloat.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, creating an account, or making API calls to the Zero Point Logic API, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.
If you are using the service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. In that case, "you" refers to both you personally and your organization.
You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2 API Usage Rules
Access to the Zero Point Logic API is subject to the following rules. Violations may result in immediate suspension of your API key and account.
- Rate limits must be respected. Each plan has documented rate limits (requests per minute and per month). Automated circumvention of rate limits — including key rotation schemes, IP rotation, or request distribution across multiple free accounts — is prohibited.
- No abusive use. You may not use the API to overwhelm, disrupt, or degrade the service for other users. Intentional denial-of-service activity is strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.
- No reverse engineering. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code or algorithm of the ZPL engine from API responses, timing analysis, or any other means. This includes machine-learning-based extraction attempts.
- No unauthorized automation. Scraping API responses to build a competing service, training model replicas, or creating derivative engines based on ZPL outputs is prohibited.
- Accurate representation. You may not misrepresent ZPL results in your application in ways that would mislead end users about the nature of the outputs.
- Legal use only. You may not use the API for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law, including gambling regulation violations, fraud, or financial manipulation.
The Free tier is provided as a genuine evaluation tool for developers and researchers. Using multiple Free accounts to exceed per-account limits is a terms violation and will result in blocking of all associated accounts.
3 Intellectual Property
The intellectual property of Zero Point Logic is divided across three distinct categories with different terms:
PROPRIETARY
ZPL Engine Algorithm
The core boolean matrix computation engine, AIN configuration logic, and all server-side processing code. All rights reserved. Not licensed for any use outside of API calls made under these terms.
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
OPEN SOURCE
Client Libraries
The Python (PyPI), JavaScript (npm), and Unity client packages. These are MIT-licensed. You may use, modify, fork, and distribute them freely, provided the MIT license notice is retained.
MIT LICENSE
OPEN DATA
Research Dataset
The 2.64 billion computation dataset published on Zenodo (86,016 configurations). Free to use for research, commercial analysis, and publication with attribution.
CC BY 4.0
The Zero Point Logic name, logo, and hexagonal "Z" mark are trademarks of Ciciu Alexandru-Costinel. You may not use these marks in your products, marketing, or services without written permission.
Academic citation of ZPL results is permitted and encouraged. Attribution should reference the ArXiv paper and/or Zenodo dataset as appropriate.
4 Plans and Billing
Zero Point Logic offers tiered subscription plans (Free, Basic, Pro, Enterprise). Plan details including rate limits and pricing are described on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
- Subscription billing — Paid plans are billed monthly. Charges occur on the same calendar day each month from the date of initial subscription.
- Plan upgrades — Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately. The difference in cost is prorated for the remainder of the billing period.
- Plan downgrades — Downgrading takes effect at the start of the next billing period. You retain access to your current plan's limits until the period ends.
- Cancellation — You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are issued for cancellation mid-period, except where required by law.
- Refund policy — A full refund is available within 7 days of initial subscription if you are not satisfied with the service. To request a refund, email contact@zeropointlogic.io within the 7-day window with your order details.
- Free tier — The Free tier has no time limit and no credit card requirement. Rate limits apply and may be adjusted over time.
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If the API does not perform as documented within the first 7 days of a paid subscription, we will issue a full refund upon request. No questions asked.
5 Disclaimer
The Zero Point Logic API is provided for mathematical computation and scientific use. Several important limitations apply:
- Provided as-is. The API is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose beyond what is described in the technical documentation.
- Scientific use. ZPL's AIN property and 8N+3 theorem are described in published research. The system's behavior is verified by 2.64 billion computations. However, as with any empirical result, the claims are based on experimental evidence rather than formal mathematical proof in the theorem-proving sense. Users are encouraged to verify results independently using the published dataset.
- Not financial advice. ZPL outputs are deterministic computational results. They should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions, betting systems, or any application where the distinction between deterministic and random behavior carries legal or financial consequence.
- Service interruptions. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain API availability, but we do not guarantee any specific uptime. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.
6 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Ciciu Alexandru-Costinel and Zero Point Logic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Important: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law. Romanian law governs this agreement — see Section 8.
7 Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship:
- By you: Cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by emailing us. Your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these terms, particularly Sections 2 (API Usage Rules) and 3 (Intellectual Property). We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless the violation is severe (e.g., active abuse or attempted reverse engineering).
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these terms cease immediately. Sections 3 (IP), 5 (Disclaimer), 6 (Liability), and 8 (Governing Law) survive termination.
8 Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Romania, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
For EU users, the European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
9 Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Send an email to all registered users at least 14 days before changes take effect.
- Post a notice on the website during the notice period.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the service and may cancel your account.
Minor changes (grammar corrections, clarifications that do not alter your rights) may be made without advance notice.
